huh.. here we are :)
we drove to this music festival close to Yosemiti National Park (BEAUTIFUL nature!! :D and I had an incredible intense and fulfilling weekend! I lived, experienced and felt many things and it will probably take some time to process all this.. it was like a big BANG and I found myself amongst all this beautiful people, loving hearts and so much inspiration and creativity! I listened to Atmos, Kox Box, Halicinogen, Perfect Stranger, Ace Ventura and Sphongle and it was EPIC!! haha :D ..yeah.. danced a lot, went on many trips through the forest and to different planes.
was happy, that I didn't have to sell something.. that I just could be there to participate in devine love. Missed Liz a lot.. a lot.. A LOT! yeah.. was quite an experience, but I guess, good to go through all these stages, to hear the inner voice clearer and clearer.
oh yes.. and Celia went to the festival.. after driving back the 1000 miles ;) so I had the perfect rideshare to my bike. I drove about 7 hours during the night and did a pretty good job! :D gives me faith in my driving skills and this is what I need for future things, that may come :)
so today I'm doing all my little jobs and changed the chain.. 170 bucks for a chain and a lock :P but however.. it will last longer than my plans to ride it. was a bit tricky to change it, but could use Gerhards tools :D awesome guy!! speaks better German than English and got all the help I needed! ..was the same place, where it was impossible before to do some service on my bike.. but guess, I got luckier by the time.. HAHA :D ..ah.. kissed by love, living the devine! I'm looking so much forward to meet Liz again on 1.10. in Seattle..
so the plan is to start tomorrow to Vancouver Island.. there I might spend up to 5 days, chilling out on the beach and meeting interesting people :) but also riding my dragon for some more days.. riding it save (service has been made ;) and reflecting upon me and my life. it will be good, to have some time to make my own way.. I'm sure, that it will lead me to Liz.. there's no reason, why not to give in to all this beautiful things, happening in my life :) I always was a heart follower and will continue to be so ;) hehe :) I think this will be great.. it will be the GREATEST thing of my life.. it already is! :D
so yes.. once more.. letting go of old things, making room for new things. go with the flow. follow your heart. make things happen. everything is possible and with all my being, with all I experienced and lived, I start a new episode of my life. being there for somebody, that appreciates you in the same loving way as you do, somebody that cares about you and you care about, somebody to share all the love, beauty and pleasure of this universe! :)
HELL YEAH!! :D ..that sound's good to me ;)
I'll be taking care of my dreads.. that are starting to look more and more bad ass ;) hehe ;)) hmm.. will have to see then, how this works with my next job, but at the moment I enjoy just twisting my hair to something really tribal looking.. totally wicked!! there will be pictures of this! haha ;)
I guess, this is it for the moment.. writing a new song about the ocean and the sky.. :) always nice to be inspired!! :D haha :D
big hug and all my love to everybody out there!! sometimes I wonder, who the heck wants to read all this stuff exept my mom ;) hehe :)
thanks for being out there!!

..living as the kings..
hi there :)
I think you should know about this.. I made it with train and bus to San Jose (a little bit down to the south, but still SF Area). I got picked up by Allison and ended up in a multi million dollar mansion with pool, tennis court and all kind of fancy stuff ;) I'm having a private bathroom with tub in the "African" room.. it's just totally amazing!! :)
I eat incredible tasty food and had inspiring discussions with the people here (..of course spreading the word of my new plans and how exciting life is at the moment ;) we made some music together and are having a great time!
of course, I miss Liz and finally my phone is working, so we can text each other :) ..even her Dad agrees with our plans and her picky friends seem to like me ;) hehe :) of course, why not ;) hehe :) I wonder if my family and friends already know about it.. hope to receive some support from back home. but I guess none of my friends would be unhappy about the latest events in my life ;) :)) ..so tomorrow we head out for Symbiosis and I will make it happen to find some work here along the west coast. like this, we can save some money for the coming trip.. it's as crazy as it sounds and it will be fucking amazing!! (not to say, totally epic! :D
sending my love out to the world and be blessed! :)

..two hearts bursting of love..
..phew... what should I say.. here I am, sitting at a computer in Oakland, where friends of Liz's parents live. they are incredible kind and helped us totally out!
Liz is gone.. on her way to the airport. If the universe still supports us, we will meet again. either here on the west coast or in New York. The future is uncertain, but whatever comes, I want to continue with Liz in my life!!
it might seem very much in a rush, to make plans for five years in just five days, but it's nothing more than the reflection of deep and true love between two beings in this universe, embracing their divinity! ..it's the most beautiful thing, that ever happened to me! never loved the way I love Liz before!! I met many beautiful hearts in my life and sometimes the way there was long and stony, but never ever before, somebody would enter my heart in such a loving and caring way!
I feel, that there are no words (and no way) to describe what is going on in me.. but if you know me, know about my mind and about my heart, then you might be able to get a slight touch of it.
if there was ever a person, I wanted to spend my life with, to make it more colorful, more tasteful, more joyful, then it's Liz!

my burning love.. :D
this is a seperate post just for Liz, the most amazing and most beautiful person, I've ever met!!! :D
we met on the psy trance floor on saturday morning and somehow we ended up cuddling in the chill out tent.. she is 22 years old and has lived all over the world (her parents are american ambassadors). she speaks German and Russian (I'm learning this now ;) hehe :) and she is totally beautiful in her mind, her spirit and her body.. she is one of the girls, that every man would fall for and I never, never ever had such a good chemisty with a girl as with her.. :D
so yes.. we have totally fallen in love and are about to change our plans.. in fact, we already did ;) haha :D ..she flies soon back to New York to sub rent her apartment and I get my motorbike down to California. then we meet again and try to make some money here in California.. then we might head back to NY to get her things ready (and having a great time in NY ;) and we would buy a Jeep and head down together to South America :) ..maybe a trailer for the bike and maybe I just leave it somewhere and see in one year, what I'm going to do with it.. I just think, travelling together is much more beautiful than riding a motorbike ;) she is AWESOME!!! I never had such mind changing experiences.. so when the white-out (sandstorm in the desert) stopped for a while, we went from the chill out tent to some other places and we passed the Orgy-Dome and decided to eve drop for a moment.. there were some couples inside and a total beautiful, lovely atmosphere.. so we sat down and shortly after we were into loving each other, having the most spectacular, inspiring and thrilling first time ever!!! :D ..and I would never have thought, to be able to do this and far less even having a lot of fun doing it!! :D haha :)))) so we were pretty inspiring, I guess ;) at a certain moment, I turned my head around and there were a dozen people sitting.. probably waiting for some space to make love to their parter :) ..oh my god.. this was one of this very deep, mind opening experiences.. and Liz is much more than this! haha :D she is so incredible loving and caring, has such a beautiful mind and horizon and she is SOOO much fun!!! :D we are such a beautiful, lovely couple.. we want to give it a try.. I kinda like the idea to reach the end of Argentina with Liz.. and then to move on together to some place.. she understands me in a very special way.. I met many woman, that pushed me away, because they can not handle my love and my need for being close.. but Liz does.. in fact, she is exactly like that and the hottest girl, that I've ever met!! :D blessed me!! thank you so much mighty universe, for leading us into each other!! :D ..we are both special persons, that do great things in their life, that believe, everything had to happen this way, to bring us to this very moment!
it's a pleasure to have her around.. people like her for she is so friendly, helpful and positive! She is exactly the person I'd like to have on my side.. (and we're having best sex ever!!!! HAHAHA :D blessed me!! ;) :))
yeah.. feel really, really happy and looking forward to all the new things.. I feel free to change all my plans, to do what my heart tells me and to follow the flow of the universe! ..you never know, what future brings and we are aware of that.. we live day by day and see how we feel.. but she is one of these persons, I could imagine to spend my whole life together, discovering ourselves everyday a new (or better.. creating ourselves everyday anew). WOW!!
be inspired by my love and sending you my best energies and blessings!!
may you be full of love as well! :D
..MINDBLAST and Transformation!
my dear friends and family :)
here I am back and don't know where to start.. things happened, that changed my plans (and my life ;) ..hmm.. so it was a 1000 mile drive down from Vernon to Black Rock Desert.
it worked out with my early entry pass and I arrived on Saturday noon, helped setting up the camp and lightwired the art truck of the Barbie Death Camp :)
hmm.. there is one thing about Burning Man, that you have to know:
you can't understand it, unless you have been there by yourself!
every attempt to explain it, will fail pathetically, but I gonna try anyway ;)
imagine a city, build like a clock.. streets from 10 o'clock down to 6 o'clock and up to 2 o'clock. then there were streets from A - K .. so you could find any place by knowing the "time" and Letter of the corner.. there were 40 000 people out in the desert and the only things that you could buy was ice and coffee in the center camp. everything else you had to bring by yourself.. water, food and whatever else you want to take out in the desert ;) people made themecamps and threw parties there.. so most groups have one or two events, where they offer workshops, drinks, sound and a lot of other fun stuff.. like battling in the Thunderdome or Flamethrower shooting range ;)
there were hundreds of art trucks.. equipped with sound, lit up in the night and of course.. flamethrowers to bring on the heat! :D haha :D ..I have never seen something that crazy! and I want to go again!!! they had about 150 art sculptures, where you could get in or climb on (haven't seen a lot of them, because being so busy and distracted ;) people ride their fancy bikes or trikes or other strange vehicles.. there were a lot of burning and flaming things around.. the world most dangerous festival.. haha ;) imagine thousands of bottles of propane somewhere out in the desert in 40 degrees Celsius ;) haha :D
so the festival consisted out of meeting tons of really cool people.. everybody has it's cup, where you get free drinks and coffee in the morning at the coffee-camp. there was a pancake place and you could go to yoga, massage, healing, music, firespinning.. oh my god.. there is no end! you can never ever imagine, what is going on, out in the desert.. there was an airport, ranger and medical stations. and all runs on the vibe of sharing and gifting.. people invite each other and nothing does cost anything. OH MY GOD!!!! THIS IS SOOOOO AWESOME!!! it's the way the world should work.. I have been deeply touched and transformed by this loving vibe!!
in the night, there were a lot, lot, lot places where you could go dancing on the playa (Playa is the middle part.. the center of the clock.. it's probably 1 km in diameter).
so I tripped around and had the best time ever!!! :D ..of course.. the desert goes pretty harsh on you. the alkaline sand makes cracking your skin. so from time to time I washed my feet with vinegar to avoid the worst..
oh.. yes.. by the way.. I got my hair dreadded :D I anyway wanted to do that and the Playa-dust is just perfect for it. (hope you will like it Mom ;) hehe ;)) ..that's a really new experience and it makes me look much more tribal.. *howl* :D now I'm wrapping them up every day a little bit and it will still take quite a while until they become really tight.. but they look already cool! :D
I haven't taken pics (maybe five :P ) ..so I will skimm through the internet and download some to make a picture album on my site. I'm sure, there are people that anyway took better shots of the things I want to show in my album.. so give me some more days and there will be a nice sortiment of what I call Burning Man experience! :))
I was cycling a lot around.. found some psy trance and a lot of cool spots and camps and friends.. mostly just for a night or a day and then I ended up somewhere else and it was OK like this.. it's meant to travel, to change and to journey out by yourself.
hmm.. I feel, that I know barely put 1% of what I experienced and this is only 1% of the festival.. so GO THERE!! SEE IT!!! it's so much worth it! ..be a burner! haha :D

..the Man must Burn!! :D
..phew.. here we go.. so I spent an incredible nice evening with John, Celias neighbour, waiting for her to arrive. John plays the guitar and was very inspiring to play together.. in fact, yesterday, there was a "free mic" evening at a cafe and I arrived just in time, to join them in their last song (I guess, if there would have been any minute of waiting time, I would have gotten nervouse, but there was just no time ;) hehe :) ..so yeah.. was really graet to play and people enjoyed. I'd like to pick a turn to show some didge, juice harp and simple guitar songs ;) maybe when I come back..
so we used the next day for preparing the week-end.. Celia is incredible! she makes a lot of tasty food and got a lot of stuff, that makes camping convenient ;) hehe :) ..so we had our big shelter and met a lot of people, that were passing by..
the drive was about 6 hours.. considerately short, thinking on the 22 hours to Burning Man ;) hehe :) but whatever it takes.. I will be there!!!!
the party was incredible!! very small for the line up.. Space Tribe gave a 3 hour set and I know, all my Goa friends would be jalous ;) hehe ;) ..I guess, there were around 300 people camping out on a mountain, in a mystical forest on a beautiful river.. we had the best campsite EVER!! just on the river, with personal bathroom and beercooler ;) close to the main floor.. so you could just dance over to the tent and grab some fruits or home made granola bars! :D isn't that totally awesome!! :D haha :) ..so there was a lot of good music and at least 10 nations present.. we had Israel, Iran, Japan, Austria, USA, England, Austria, Africa, Russia and Swiss next to Canadians :) that was a blast! :) made a lot of friends and as usual on these special kind of parties.. tons of good energies.. lovely people.. inspiring encounters and an incredible ammount of fun!! :)
so after two days we drove back and arrived somewhen in the morning, after a longer nap along the way :-P ..here we are preparing now for Burning Man..
I will have a bycicle (need one in a built up city of 50 000 people in the desert) and I found the most awesome rideshare for the last part! (touching wood)
because Celia picks somebody up for the last part, I was urged to find out how to make it.. bus seems very complicated, but I thought, hitchhiking might be an option. so this morning I extended my wish to the universe and sent some emails to people, that offered a ride share.. and Ka-Boom! after 30 minutes I got the perfect ride share! somebody has an early entry ticket and I get in with the people, that build up there theme camp.. the BARBIE DEATH CAMP! :D
..so and now comes best.. my friends from Anchorage told me, that they will camp out with the Barbie Death Camp guys.. so it's true: Everything is connected within this universe! :D ;)
my lovely little dragon will now sit for some while here, while I'm on foot ;) I bought some spare parts today and gonna change them tomorrow.. Oil, Oil- and Airfilter, rear Tyre (first time :) then check the bike and store it for some weeks.. I actually might hang out in California for a while, once I'm there ;) never know, what happens after Burning Man.. muhahaa ;)
there is a BMW dealership close to here, so once I get back, I will let check the breaks at their place.. otherwise.. this bike is totally cool! seems to be pretty reliable and runs smoooooothly! :)
I got goggles (for the sand storms at Burning Man) and went through the 'survival-checklist'. I will be so totally fine, being together with people, that have done this before.. it's exactly the way I wanted to have it. ..hmm.. just make it happen!! once you learn about your true powers in life (and that's no fancy flying through the air ;) you can create yourself everyday anew and with yourself, you create your reality.. pretty amazing stuff ;)
basically: love first! ..then comes respect, honesty, sharing and caring.. simple: just listen to yourself and ask, what higher being you could become.. and you make it happen! :)
..my latest project here is a soft rope dart.. I have to sew (brrrrr) some fabric and might have it ready tonight.. that's a dogdoy (soft ball) in a long cone of elastic fabric.. so it's real fun! :D haha :) you do this kinda kung-fu monk stuff and wrap the rope (fabric) around you, while twisting around, unwrapping it and shooting it away, holding the other end of the fabric, so you pull it in again and make some other twists.. :) ..and it's so soft, that you can pounch people, without harming them.. it's a real amazing thing! :)
..oh.. and about amazing things.. I started with spooning.. that are two spoons, bent and put together with duct tape.. in a way they tap on each other when you hit them against your hand or leg. so it's a simply rythmic tool, that can be quite tranceful :) the sound changes with the shape of your hand and I've heard that playing with some electronic music and it just rocks!!! :D just gonna take me a while until I get there ;) hehe :) the guy does it since he was eight.. :)
but yeah.. spoon on.. and then I will give free spoon lessions to people :)
so.. you will (eventually ;) hear from me again.. that's all for now ;)
have a great time and I gonna try to make a picture album of Burning Man.. that's what I would call my "Mekka" :)
my blessings to all of you and take care!

..old McDonald has a farm.. :)
..after I lost my last entry, I just make here a second part.. what's published is published ;)
So I spent the last days on this farm.. had very nice company! a guy from England and a girl from Norway and it was just totally fun toghether!! :D we cooked (even I cooked and found even pleasure doing it ;) and we had great conversations, drunk port wine, played risk and had a totally fulfilling time together!
maybe I also have to mention the Israeli girl, that brought me to the place.. that was a challenge!! I have never experienced somebody like her and I've met quite a lot of people and have been in some relations.. but I had never so much drama, shouting, escalations even getting beaten up.. ah.. you couldn't imagine and it doesn't matter that much. showed me a lot about people and showed me, that I can stay calm and in harmony in very extreme situations ;) ..it's probably a mix of past experiences, cultural background and 2 years in the military, that messed this girl so much up.. but yes.. glad we run into each other, because otherwise I wouldn't have been on the farm, wouldn't have experienced all this and the resulting wounds are minor.. a bruise that it's about to go away and when I get needle and thread, I can fix my pullover as well ;)
so we fixed IKEA beds and moved them around, got hay for the animals.. they have horses, donkeys, cats and a dog. We dug some holes for posts and painted a fence.. was fun to work as well. Friday evening we wanted to go out and I managed to drive the old Ford pickup on the empty tank (who would know, that they have 2 tanks ;) to run out of gasoline and had to tow it.. because diesel enginges are a bit more complicate to get running again, once out of gas ;)
I learned quite a lot about diesel technology :) so was adventurous.. and we had many helping hands, when we were out in nowhere at night :)
I was hiking on Sunday on a hill and had a nice session with my flutes, didgeridoo and shakers up there.. just by myself and that nobody could hear me ;) haha :D that was FUN!! see the pictures of the lake and the place where we stayed in my Picasa-Album.
met dozens of nice people!! GREAT people should I say!! it's so fantastic, what happens, if you just travel, if you just talk to people.. if you respect them, if you are interested what they do (because we can always learn from it) and how they do it. ..everybody is a human being, everybody has the right to do things the way he does and everybody wants to be loved.. pretty simple, isn't it ;) hehe :)
so I drove yesterday from Gray Creek to Vernon, so we can pack today all we need for the festival at the week-end (Juhuii!! :o) ..my plans from here are: go to the Psy-Trance party in a green valley, come back, do some stuff and get ready for burning man, drive down to burning man (it looks, as these would be 5000km :P and hang out some time down and then get back and continue somehow the motorbike trip ;) hehe :)
yesterday was quite a strange day of driving.. probably because my mind was still full of the experiences of the last days and then I wasn't used to drive anymore that much. It's different, if you drive 6 days in a row from morning to evening.. then I was somehow more into it (but got a sore ass of it ;) so I enjoy having a good mix between driving and staying in a place.. for the next 3 weeks it looks, as my bike would stay here and I gonna make a trip by myself ;)
hmm... yes, that's it.. catched pretty much up.. I'm here in Vernon at Celias place. I met her on Shambhala and she's doing what I am doing.. following the festivals and having fun! :D so yes.. I guess we might getting to know each other pretty well in the next weeks :) she speaks also french and her children (some seem pretty grown up on the pictures hanging on the fridge ;) are with their dad.. so I actually gonna find out in a few moments, what is going to happen the next days :) when we're having breakfast together..
have a great one and may the sun tender your skin! :)

HAPPY SHAMBHALA!! :D
..so yes.. we were floating down the river for hours and there was even a wicked rope swing to jump out in the water! :) ..it took me quite a while, until I dared to climb up that tree, but it was totally cool swinging out and I even landed free of pain ;)
..oh dude.. this is how it gets messed up with my blog. the last entry disappeared in data heaven despite auto saving :( ..hmm.. anyway.. seems, I have to post it shortened again :P
so I was on Shambhala and it was just sooooooo incredible beautiful, inspiring, touching and full of love!! :D oh yeah.. made a lot of friends (what happens, if you travel by yourself ;)
it's a totally awesome place with forest and a river flowing across and the weather was just perfect! :D ..I was pretty excited the evening before, if everything would work out fine and then it came way better than I could have ever expected it ;) I just passed the cars that were lined up and left out the parking overflow zone.. talked to a man with a hat on a ATV and got my ticket very quickly (motorbike rulez!! :) I went to the main gate, waited 10 minutes and was the first motor driven vehicle of the normal guests that entered the area :D
I could leave it then at the drop off place under some trees (just works with motorbikes and talking nice to people ;) and walked in. ..the first person I met (and talked to) showed me a beautiful and shady place in the forest, where I could pitch my tent.. totally nice neighbours and a great spot, as I figured out later (compared to the car camping.. hot and dusty most of the time ;) ..so yes.. was from the beginning a wonderful weekend! lot's of lovely people with their awesome costumes (you should check some pictures on www.shambhalamusicfestival.com). That's a big deal here.. to have fancy costumes :D ..but me, I'm anyway always in my indian/hippie look, so matches perfectly ;) hehe :)
words couldn't tell, what happened there, but be assured, it was a totally beautiful time and it made me so much richer!! :)
only the end was a little bit abrupt.. they played music until 9.00 in the morning and at 12.00 the people were supposed to leave.. no chance to camp out another day, what would have been really necessairy after 4 days of party.. :-/ but made it back pretty quickly (passing all the cars lined up and trying to leave the area ;)
I spend another day at my friends place, but for some reasons, she wasn't very much at ease any more (I just felt SOOOO good after this festival!! :D ..so I decided to leave the next morning and went on to Gray Creek (that's close to Crowford Bay). It was a very rainy day and I got soaked (for once ;) and was glad, when I finally arrived at the place. Passed Nelson, that's supposed to be a very nice little town, but it was to wet to check the place out :P
the place in Gray Creek was an organic farm and I was doing some WWOOF-work (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms), where you get food and a place to stay for 5hrs working every day. it's a pretty fair deal for people who want to travel like that..

..before the storm.. :)
Hi there :D
I just had a totally awesome week and it's not about to stop! :D haha ;)
so.. I changed my tyre in Prince George.. had some help, because I didn't always know, if I'm doing the right thing :P but now I did it for the first time and I'm able to do it on my own :D
I travelled on to a beautiful rest place on the river and camped out there. I had two beautiful dragonflies, that hunted the nasty mosquitos around me! :) oh, I just love those insects!! they are cruising through the air and eating their prey on the fly :) (too bad they were filled after half an hour and it got really bad with those bloody blood-sucking suckers ;)
I drove into the Rocky Mountains and stopped 30km before Jasper (a very, very, super touristy spot, I don't wanna be ;). I had no food that night, but run into the right people and we had great discussions and they kept me alive ;) had even a fantastic breakfast the next day and continued to Jasper.
it was actually cloudy that day and a few drops of rain fell.. so I hoped the next day would be better and hell he was! :) a bright day, blue sky and perfect visibility for driving through the Rocky Mountains! ..and believe me, this is one of this very super cool things you do: fly to the other side of the world, pick up a motorbike and just drive along the most beautiful strips.. these roads are totally EPIC!!! :D
there will be a picture of two of that amazing day of riding! :)
I left out various hot springs, because I didn't feel to stop there (camping next to them is generally not possible and there are a lot of tourists around :-/ but camped then at a lake in the mountains in Golden (yes, that's the towns name :)
was also an interesting evening, as I made friends with all the people camping out there ;) got compliments for playing the guitar are for fire juggling :D (oh, I just love doing that stuff!! ;)
the next day I drove to Revelstoke and then down to the ferry to cross the Arrow Lake. They are having several forest fires here (long dry periode), but it might be rainy the coming weekend (even if I hope not too much on Shambhala ;)
this was also a very beautiful ride.. a lot of motorbike riders on the road, because it's narrow and very curvy, therefore fun to ride! :D stopped at a river to jump into the water and cool down a little bit (it's really hot here.. but still prefere it to the cold ;)
I met then my random stranger host here in Castleguard ;) a friend in Dawson City gave me her contact and it has been really a fulfilling time here so far! :)
I helped her out at her fruit stand (entertained the customers with guitar and magic tricks ;) and then the evening we went camping out on a river.. sleeping in our hammocks to the calming sound of flowing waters :)
the next morning we went having super delicious organic breakfast and then for a horseback ride.. I LOVE IT!! :D ..then noon we hooked up with a lot of friends to float down the river. I got my own P.F.D. (personal floating device)
..to be continued.. (battery is low ;) :P

IMPORTANT IF YOU READ THIS!
Dear Friends :)
I hope you can make me a favour.. for some strange reasons, not everybody might have received this link. So you would do me a HUGE favour, if you spread the word of this page (and the pictures on picasa.com)
so if you work in ABB, you might see friends of mine, that don't have the link
if we know each other from Psy-Parties in the woods, then there might be other people from my family, that might be interested to hear about this.
if we used to play Life Action RolePlays together, then there might be other members of the "fellowship" :)
if you were in my role play group, make sure the other dudes received that link at least once ;)
and we lived together for a year, let those other fellows know about this blog.
THANKS A LOT! :D
I miss you all and I'm grateful for the time we had together (and may have in the future).
when I started this, I didn't like the idea of a blog, but now I'd like letting know my friends about this.. so it's their decision, if they check it out from time to time (I won't be mad, if you don't ;) haha ;) :)
good vibes to the world and carry on! :D

..the town of rocky tocky and an unexpected wedding..
dear friends and family :)
once more I feel like catching up.. there happens so much all the time! you just get a glitch of it.. to document all of it, if just too much :P
hmm.. there are some people who haven't get the link to this blog yet.. so probably have to send it to all of you again.. sorry for the inconvenience ;)
for those who got my email with the links.. I might have been a little bit too harsh, about not having personal contact ;) hehe :) I mean.. my mailbox remained mysteriously silent (as you would have taken it very serious ;) and it would be sad, if I wouldn't get a single email of anybody for 1.5 years.. so feel free to comment, commit or whatever you feel :) I'll find time somewhen to drop a few lines back..
so.. after the last post at Watson Lake, I run into some Swiss guys, that were traveling after being in a language school and we had a great evening! :) eat some pasta and discussed about life.. I tried out my hammock and it totally rules :D (just better to do that in mosquito less areas ;) ..I patched myself up in the morning (shower and stuff) and head then down the Cassiar Highway to a place called Dease Lake, where I turned in to a dirt road to Telegraph Creek. I actually wanted to climb the Mt. Medziza (you should google a picture of it, then you know, why I wanted to stand on top of it! :D
so after 112km, I just figured out, that there is no way to get there.. wether 5 days of hiking after crossing the river with a canoe or flying in with a float plane (out of budget once again ;)
anyway.. the ride there was pretty thrilling (you should check the pictures on picasa.com) you just come one time too fast into a curve and you are as totaled as your bike is ;) you probably rather survive a jump off the 5th floor than that. but anyway.. it was not a problem. you just are very, very aware and drive very slowly. So I'm still alive, but having a lot more experience, driving my bike ;)
when I got there, I found a ghost town.. I mean.. half of the houses are inhabited, but half of them have been abandoned decades ago. makes them pretty creepy and full of stuff.. there was a lot of catholic french written things lying around in the old church.. even a fridge in another house (hmm.. now I wonder, what was inside.. should have opened it ;)
yes.. had a nice time there.. slept on the balcony of the old church, so it was another night for free ;) hehe :)
there was also a wedding that night and I got invited (as everybody was invited). they had absolutely delicious food there and some wine.. but the party itself wasn't a lot of my taste. OK, I'm not into weddings anyway, but it was kinda closed community and half of the people were just there, because they are supposed to be there.. others were really drunk (pissed, fucked up or shit-faced, as people would say here ;) hehe :)
this happens mostly to native people (Indians), who don't have an enzyme in their liver, that's needed to digest alcohol. So what happens is, that they just get fucked up really quickly (remember the old western movies, where they had the drunken indians, because of the fire water? ..it's truly like that.. :-/
so I had to drive back that road the next day and moved on to Kitwanga.. (actually even a little bit more, so I broke my driving record.. made more than 600km that day).
was totally crushed in the evening and found (after some less friendly people) a very nice guy camping out there.. he invited my dinner and me had best discussions about spirituality and philosophy.. he's just a great guy! :) fire fighter and on vacation :)
oh.. do I have to mention, that it was just GORGEOUS to drive down the Cassiar Highway? I just love seeing all the nice things around.. OK.. no wildlife so far, but I think, these fellows just run away, when they hear the motor sound.. anyway, how much fun is it for an elk to hang out at the road? :D so I might still have to watch discovery channel to see the bears ;) hehe :)
at a certain point, I figured out, that I can lift my bike up by myself.. it was again like pulling it over. wasn't driving fast.. one time by sliding backwards. then I have to unload the things on the back, grab it in the right spot and lift it up again.. takes me less than 5 minutes, but of course, sucks doing it (for it should not happen ;) but so far everything fine.. it would also be very costly to have a crash at higher speed, so I naturally try to avoid ;)
then from Seeley Lake (close to Kitwanga) I had a easy day (but hell of a sore ass already) to get to Vanderhoof (no, it's not in the netherlands ;) where I met Richi, the husband of my deceased god mother. he lives in a very, very beautiful and quite spot in a very decent house.. so I slept in a twin bed and could my limbs stretch out ;)
we had nice discussions the whole evening long and I could do some on the pendent work.. pictures upload, clean my stuff, wash clothes.. and service the bike.
he is an excellent cook and I eat delicious and healthy food (yes, it's possible ;) fresh salmon with potatoes and salad and a fruit salad for desert :)
this morning I was busy getting my things ready and then we went visiting Karma (yes, that's a name ;) in Prince George. I got my own phone number here and found a place, that had a new tyre for my bike. the old one is pretty worn out, but it's just 65 bucks to get a new one and I will appreciate the better grip it will have :)
tonight I stay here (checking out the night life ;) and tomorrow I head back to Vanderhoof.. wether my friend tells me, she likes also camping out for a few days in Jasper (in the Rocky Mountains), I would start already tomorrow to Prince Goerge (back and forth and back and forth ;) change tyre and oil, stay for the night and then go to Jasper and down through the Rockies.. weehaaa :D it's just so totally cool driving around here! :) BEAUTIFUL!
ehmm.. that's it so far..
if anybody thinks, leaving all behind and traveling that far is hard, then you're wrong! ;) it's just totally awesome, inspiring, lovely, fulfilling and hell a lot of fun! :) it's pretty easy in fact and fit's my personality ;)
have a great time and be blessed! may the sun shine bright in your life (especially in Switzland ;)

..discovering new land..
so.. here we are :)
for those who want to google-earth it: I started in Tok, passed through Chicken and stayed a night in Dawson City, then a long ride down to White Horse, where I slept last night and now I am in Watson Lake.. I hope, they have some pics in Google Earth.. I'll upload mine in a few days.
hmm.. that was really exciting so far! :)
a beautiful road (mostly dirt ;) through the Yukon.. plenty of space, fun to ride.. and a lot of beautiful scenery around. I'll have the pictures speak for that later ;)
the boardercrossing was very easy.. just a lady giving you a stamp. that's it :)
I arrived then in Dawson City, a very small and beautiful town (lot's of colored houses :) just very touristy.. there was a festival at the weekend, but I missed it.. never mind, there are others ;) ..I found myself a shack of an abandoned house, that was for sale and bunkered my things there. I would have spread out my mat and slept there, but crashed in a tent on the other side of the river (Yukon river rocks! ;) after we had a jam session at a bonfire over there.. actually, I wasn't even 24hrs in that place, but met a lot of people!! many of them stay around for the summer and the city is so small, that you ran into each other all the time! :) ..it's maybe 5 min walking from one end to the other ;) ..it was a short, but intense time and enjoyed people and place a lot!
the next day (just little bit hangover ;) I rode dawn to White Horse.. that's a longer distance, than my homecountry from east to west plus north to south ;) ..it really gives you an idea about space and distances! :) ..arrived quite late and the guy I supposed to meet didn't write back.. so I found myself another shack of another abandoned house, just 7 min from downtown ;) hehe :)
I just find it very, very, extremly very boring to spend money for a room to sleep.. rather meet people or find myself such a place (because pitching the tent every night sucks ;) ..lazy Markus ;) hehe :) ..and it's fun and adventurous (I learned that from my former room mates in Switzerland ;) ..when I got back to the place at night, it was pretty creepy and I decided to sleep outside.. but was about to play guitar in the city center, so I just picked the instrument and went back.. so playing, at a certain point, to guys showed up and I ended up sleeping at their place, in a hard tent out in the woods.. and a comfi matrass and a cozy blanket ;) what a good night! :)
we walked quite around a bit, before we got to that place.. so I have seen White Horse at night from the sacred, old native burial ground.. pretty awesome experience! :)
this morning ran into another Swiss ExPat, that settled down there.. there are plenty around! :) it's a decent spot to end up.. so why not ;) just 7 month of winter isn't what I'm looking for ;)
had a good ride to Watson Lake (it seems to be a junction only ;) and maybe I turn around and enter the coastal highway further south..
it's just beautiful to ride a bike and see all this lands here!! even if it's sometimes a bit more complicated, it's great to be on road like this! :D (I couldn't do that cycling anymore ;) it takes just forever to get somewhere ;) hehe :)
yes.. that's it in short version :) ..it's obviously pretty censored here, but as I can't share everything with everybody (at least not so informal through internet), I have to leave out some very cool experiences ;)
I anyway can't tell, how people would look at me, after they read all this.. but hey, it's me! :) if you like me, then you have to take me the way I am.. and for this trip: this is just the right thing! :)
okay.. have a good time and gonna hear from me in a few days I guess.. :)
miss you and have a good time!

..new friends, a rainy good bye and sudden changes..
yay.. finally time to free my mind and catch up with my blog!
I had a greattime in Anchorage! ran into people, with very good energies.. the week-end, my friends took me out in the woods, where the "Gypsy Undergound" band (they play awesome psychadelic rock) had a stage built, with lots of space to hang around! :)
I eat great food.. organic, vegan and also fresh salmon :) we spinned fire and made music and wherever they eye reached, there were artistic vibes! ..I've seen the first time in my life a fire rope-dart and a fire contact ball and they just rock! :D haha ;) ..need to practice more ropedart and get one of those!!!
they installed a shadow screen and it was just so cool, to do wierd stuff behind it.. shadow screen is a winner! ;) ..hmm.. finally after two days of enjoying ourselves in all imaginable ways, we split up and for me, it was also time to move on, if I want to make it to Prudhoe Bay and back down to the Shambhala music festival. In just a few days, I met dozen of totally amazing people around Anchorage! :D ..and I know, it would be a nice time, to stay there and hang out with them! :)
of course it was raining the next day, when I started.. went to the ministry of traffic to get a personalized license plate.. gonna let you know, if it worked out ;) and head for Fairbanks.
on my way, I decided for some reason to turn in onto the old Denali Highway (that's a blast! 80 miles of dirtroad through the wilderness! :) I rode my dragon with 65 mph through hills and plains ;)
.. for some other reasons I decided to move on and on, to finally end up at a place, sitting on a bar between motorbike riders and some guys with a laptop. decided then to check the distance from where I was to the festival and figured out, that I assumed a little bit wrong.. about 1500 miles wrong.. ups.. (for those who don't know 1 mile = 1.6 km). So if I want to make it to Prudhoe Bay, I don't have any spare days and would have to drive every day 300 miles.. it's just not how I like it. So I decided quickly, to change all planned ahead and go directly for Canada, so I have enough time to drive down without getting "pain in the ass" ;)
as I left so many things behind, I didn't actually need, I gave also my spare 2 gallons fuel tank away and drove to Tok.
it's kinda sad to leave Alaska that quick and I'm not prepared yet for Canada (could I ever have? ;) and it would have been nice to see the road to that outtest point of Alaska, but it's not going to happen this time. I also don't feel like to drive a lot of miles, but more meet interesting people and have an unforgettable time ;)
so on my way here I drove first from Paxson to Delta Junction.. totally beautiful!! :D and then 110 miles down to Tok.. totally boring road.. trees on both sides and enough distance to the road to spot mooses. you could see miles ahead, because the road is just straight :P
so I ended up with 75-80 mph (highway limit is 65 mph) and it would have been all right, if I didn't get too much used to it, so I still had this 75 mph, when I reached city limit (55 mph) and the police car passed. hmm.. they appearently radar you when you pass by, so I saw some flashing lights in the mirror and a car stopping. not enough.. for panicking a minute, I somehow turned in a street ? to loose the police in the forest? and ended just in a backyard of a house. hmm.. so I got off the bike and there is also the officer arriving (there was no siren, to mention that ;) haha :D it was not ALL that dramatic ;)
anyway.. with this real ackward feeling, when you know, you did something wrong, every single cell of my body yelling for merci and understanding.. and feeling REALLY sorry, he broke that down to a 90 dollar ticket.. phew ;) I wouldn't have my license anymore in Switzerland, I guess ;)
but yes.. foreigner + being nice and burning good Karma ;) hehe :)
so at least I have now my bike checked.. it's not stolen, it's correctly registered and the insurance card was enough. didn't need international driving license.. swiss one is OK :)
got a good story at least ;) hehe :) even if it are not the ones, that I'm trying to tell.. ;) would have probably spend that money for better things as booze ;) but in the end, it doesn't matter. you don't get always the best deal out of life, if you're traveling, might spend too much for a cab or being ripped off at the market.. it doesn't matter in the end, because you always run into these priceless moments, where you met nice people and have been invited to something.. situations, that fill your heart with love! :)
so here I am.. in Tok.. washed my bike (and loved it!!) haha :D ..it was a mosqito cementary on the front and Denali mud wall from behind.. so it just looks really nice again ;)
and the more other bikes I see, the more I like mine.. it looks just so damn good!! :D
it's incredible, how many bug commit suicide on my visier :P they just get smashed within miliseconds and make a noise between "fshh" and "clack" (the second ones are REALLY ugly!) I'd like to see the insect, that spreads so much guts on my helmet ;) hehe :) ..started to write a song about them ;)
now, as my mind is freed, I'm looking forward to hang out at the camp site and play guitar and practise with my double sticks. got tons of new ideas, after meeting these cool guys in Anchorage! :D
gonna keep you posted and have a good time! :)
I also don't feel like to drive a lot of miles, but more meet interesting people and have an unforgettable time ;)

..back in town..
So here I am, back in Anchorage, sitting on a couch, with the greatest people of town! :D having truly awesome experiences! there was just the evening when I arrived this fire spinning practice downtown in the park and showed me the place, where I would find it, lent me a bike and there I went.. I found the spot, but nobody was there (was actually two blocks down ;) but ran into someone on the street, who belongs to the group and took me along.. then it was just such a warm and nice atmosphere! found friends within minutes.. talked about a lot of stuff and deep stuff. got inspired to go to the burning man and backed up with my plans to go to the Shambala music festival.. oh.. I have to party a bit! :D ..you life just once, and I want to tell my kids ;) hehe :)
I probably stay for a some days more.. there are just so good vibes around!! makes me feel incredible happy!! :)
gonna keep you up to date.. had a great day, as they mostly turn out to be. I tell you, to look at the life with the eyes of a child, being open minded, open hearted.. it just totally works out! (you should try it ;) hehe :)
where swiss people may end up.. :)
Hi there :)
I have kinda catch up with my story ;) even if I don't feel like commenting a lot, I'd like to share some of my unbelievable stories with you ;)
..the last day in Seward, I used to climb Mt.Marathon (what a funny name ;) ..every 4th of July, 300 people would "run" up and down that mountain (more are not allowed, because it's already dangerous enough ;) ..so I met Mario, a German guy on the bottom and we made our way up.. it's about 1000m and took us an hour to get to the top (including the minutes we used to get our breath back, while watching the breath taking scenery ;)
..we had a little snowball fight on the top and then ran down as it's like walking on the moon, because of the loose gravel.. you get a quite thrilling speed jumping down :D ..took us 25 minutes to be on sea level again :)
the next day, I headed for Homer.. my heart filled with pure love to all the people I met so far. It's incredible.. it just started and I met already so many nice people.. open minded, heart followers, that understand my being on the first sight! I felt so welcome in all these places and still am, where I'm sitting now! :D ..I feel, that I could live my life in any place, and that's a great feeling!
in Homer, I hooked up with some people, that had a RV (motor home) down there and helped them cleaning their boat. I was invited to Chili and Lasagna and decided to leave my recently bought camping stuff behind.. I don't have room for it, would need a lot of other stuff as well (like food ;) and I'm just not into cooking.. still not.. so better make a sandwich, roll a potato into foil or put a can into the fire ;) ..but somehow it seems, that we tend to need these things, in order to figure out, that we don't need them ;) :P
but it's a good feeling to leave things behind.. kinda makes you more free! :)
so I camped out two days at the "spit" (the half Island in Homer) and met the right people in the right moment.. went out the next day to visit the russian town (where my bike got surrounded by horses ;) ..I drove my bike along the beach (it was low tide) and got pretty excited about it.. so excited, that I somehow oversaw a bump and managed to break both of my mirrors, bend a pannier and a blinker (no Mom, don't worry, it wasn't dangerous! ;) hehe :D just a scratch for me and a minor flesh wound for the bike (but someday I have to learn how to fix it, right?). So on my way back, I met Brigitte from Germany, who leaves here for years with her Husband Willi from Switzerland, Aargau :) he had all the tools we needed and I shaped that pannier back in no time :) it's even better than before and we got the broken screw out and this very afternoon I got them mounted again. ..the right people in the right moment :) they invited me for dinner.. pesto and salad from their garden with fresh mushrooms.. just so delicious!! :D
met other guest, who stayed with them, got also invited to their place (thou I didn't make it then) and got a contact here in Anchorage, that gave me the address of a friend, who has two BMWs, so I'm eager to talk to him! :)
I left out all the expensive stuff.. as flightseeing and bear watching.. I just don't like to spend a lot of money for experiences like that.. they come for free and are best, if unexpected.. HAHA :D the next day I saddled my bike and drove back to Anchorage.. 340 km.. it's enough for a day.. gonna try to keep my daily routes shorter than that. (especially with a bike packed that much)
there are quite some people from Switzerland staying there and I unfortunately didn't have time to visit them all, but I'm sure, it would have been a good experience!!
oh.. I have to mention that: when I arrived, there was this bald eagle sitting on the beach and eating on a fish. So I approached carefully and got to close to 5m.. just sitting next to him and admire him, until he finished and spread out his wings and climbed in the airs again.. was just amazing!!

a fish story
hmm.. it's already 22.15 and still as bright as it could be.. midnight sun rules!! :)
I arrived in Seward and due to some lucky circumstances, I ended with very nice people, having a great party, making new friends and having a lot of fun! :) oh yeah! the trip has begun!!
the last time, I just stayed overnight and was camping alone.. but this time, it's just an awesome, incredible experience!! :D I feel blessed by life and hope, that I can pass something on of if..
so I heard about the Exit Glacier hike (that was a good exercise! :) just brought way too many layers with me and was sweating a lot. but once on the top, I sat down, meditated a while and felt the elements coming together.. the warm sun, a refreshing breeze, the water flowing under the ice and the solid ground below me. Nature here is beautiful and finally I got time to hike around..
the evening, we had a tasty Alaskan BBQ with fresh caught salmon (it couldn't be better! :) I'm known for not being a huge fan of fish, but this salmon was just delicious! :D
later on, I went to town, going out in a bar (I cycled to town.. no drunk driving of course ;) and met some very nice people.. actually, they are just great!! :D
I got invited that very evening to a boat trip to catch salmon out in the Alaskan sea.. I would never go on a charter (touristy) tour, paying a lot of money for.. but being out with friends, that show you how to fish, on the biggest yaught in Seward (maybe even in whole Alaska, because it belongs to a billionaire), catching fresh salmon.. some people would die for that ;)
oh.. now I'm ruined.. totally spoiled.. this almost can't be beaten by another fishing trip. it was just totally awesome!!! :D could call it the best day in my life :) (so far ;)
all I had to get was a fishing license for 20 bucks.. I could not even have afforded the gasoline, the two 1200 HP engines consumed.. you might check the pictures out.. even caught a King Salmon (they are far more rare than the Silver Salmon). oh yeah.. learned a lot about fishing.. and will be forever grateful for these fulfilling moments! :) traveling rocks totally!!! haha :D you should try that! ;)
now I'm going out.. it's Saturday and let's see, what the evening holds for me :)

Arrival and the first days..
Dear family and friends,
I'm still not sure, if I should write email and blog in English or German, but I try it in English first, so it becomes even more international ;) and you might profit in the sense of learning a few new words (I hope my grammar won't be all that bad ;)
I managed to pack my bike (hell do I have a lot of stuff.. needed some army bags from a backyard sale, to mount everything on my bike ;) might even leave something behind, to get a better bike handling..
I stayed at two different couchsurfing places over night and enjoyed a lot! was a great time in Anchorage!! (not as the last time, where I had to camp out alone somewhere). Somehow everything seems to work out better this time and I enjoy this "starting-help" of the universe :)
I'm now pretty familiar with anchorage.. drove a lot up and down to get my things done. bought some camping equipment (and got my VISA card canceled, because it passed the limit ;)
even if they don't even have wheat here (that's imported like everything else except for fish ;) they brew a lot of different beers in Alaska and I'm on it to try as many of them as possible.. ;)
after three days, I had prepared everything and headed down to Seward..
